Development Process
Our Advantages
80% illi staff with automotive background, with good concept about project timing control and quality control and cost control. And automotive project development rules helps a lot.
We follow APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning) developing procedure to ensure timing controlled and all open issues are closed before we move to serial production.
PPAP(Production part approval process) procedure requires us to submit documentation to customer and make us customer know how the process looks, like testing result, etc.

Production
Now illi produces most kind of components in house, which makes us feasible to launch customer’s concept with short lead time, high quality and very competitive cost. Besides this，we also carry latest technologies and new equipments from automotive industry, that makes illi always capable to support our customers with best sulotions.We are certified with ISO9001, as well as other certifications.6S is the most important topic for the entire supply chain, since well-organized workshop will make production process stable and on-site operator safe. Illi always put our focus on topics about staff safety.
Quality
To protect the product quality and ensure stable production process, illi will have VDA 6.3(a kind of production process audit tool in automotive industry) for all suppliers (including illi ourself) for every project. All findings must be closed before serial production.
There will be SLP(Safe Launch Plan) phase before serial production to detect all risk and fail mode, with higher inspection rate and inspection method. We will launch correction action for all findings before SOP(Start of Production).

Logistics
The company located in Ningbo city, which is famous with Ningbo Sea Port in the world. And there is only 300 KM by driving to Shanghai Airport.
By above, illi with big advantage both for air shipment and sea shipment; which will save customer’s freight cost correspondingly.

Development Process
Illi team can support with customer for design optimization, to save customer’s cost and make design launched. Also we are feasible with co-design, which means customer share design concept and illi team to release the 2D&3D.
With current over 100 suppliers, we are feasible with fast prototype sample building and submission.
Carry over automotive industry development procedure, illi pay much attention to customer communications and information share.
